Our Little House-We Love it!

Hello from the Hanson Family in Salmon! We thought this would be an easy way for everyone to see what we've been up to the last month and a half-building a house! And when I say "we" I really mean Jared! Britton and I haven't been too much help except for keeping Jared company and playing in the big piles of dirt. Jared's been working on the house everyday since Feb. 29th, with help from the 2J crew. Now he's flying solo and priming the walls to be painted. We are hoping to move into the house around May 15th because the Beyelers will be back from Missouri around then. Jared's been working really hard, and he's doing a great job!

We are currently living in the big blue and white house you can see in the top left hand corner of this picture. There is a trail that runs down the side of the hill to the house, and Britton and I usually walk down it everyday. The outside of our house is completely finished except for staining the cedar siding and the front porch. Britton loves to play here!

Pouring the footings

Britton was so excited to see all the big, different trucks come out to the house. He especially loved seeing this cement truck pour the footings. It was so muddy and cold down there for the longest time!

Mr. Diaper Head

Britton hates getting dressed! Most of the time he's running around half-dressed (like in this picture) or with just a diaper on. Occasionally I'll catch him completely naked! He sure is getting big!
